Baxby Manor is a historic, picturesque retreat. <B>Built in 1308 and mentioned in the Doomsday Book,</b> the house is full of character with many original features, including inglenook fireplaces, oak beams and an authentic 16th century bread oven!
Baxby is set in unspoilt countryside on the edge of the North York Moors National Park and just a short walk from the village with its shop, pub and 12th century church.
The farm's 110 acres of fields, hedgerows, lanes, woods, ponds and stream provide opportunities for wildlife watching, coarse fishing, walking or simply enjoying wonderful views.

Nearby are stunning cliff paths and wooded valley walks. Sandy beaches are just two miles away, one a delightful walk down the valley from Burridge.
Kilkhampton, a mile away, has shops and two pubs that serve food. The bustling seaside town of Bude is within six miles. Instruction and surf hire are available at Bude and Widemouth.
