The Barn

This attractive holiday home for 2-4 people is a sympathetically converted former stone barn designed with comfort in mind.
The Barn is situated to the rear of the owner's house in the Dunmere valley, 2 miles from the centre of Bodmin on the Wadebridge road. The property backs onto the picturesque Dunmere woods, with its lovely river walks, and the Camel Trail, a 17 mile long cycle-way which follows the river Camel from Bodmin Moor to the estuary mouth at Padstow.
Situated in central Cornwall, it makes an ideal base for exploring the county. For sun-bathing, surfing and sailing, the string of white sand beaches along the rugged north coast are a must: Polzeath, Padstow, Rock, Trevone and Constantine etc 10-15 miles away. Travel the same distance in the opposite direction and you find the quaint fishing ports of the gentle south coast: Fowey, Looe, Polperro, Polruan and Mevagissey are all within easy striking distance.

3 Cottages - Imagine nestling on the edge of the Dove Valley overlooking Derbyshire hills and the beautiful Wolfscote and Berresford Dales. An ideal hide-away with stunning scenery and so quiet you can hear the cows munching grass in the fields below.
Each of our stone cottages has individual character, with beamed living room 'olde-worlde' touches and pretty stenciling to complement the decor.
The farmstead dates back to the Doomsday Book and is steeped in history with fascinating listed buildings. Central to superb walking and climbing with the High Peak and Tissington cycle trail nearby. Chatsworth House and the market town of Bakewell plust Alton towers all within easy travelling distance.
We have a Farm Trail, with freedom to roam experiencing breathtaking views with nothing to disturb the peace but sheep, birds and the occasional leaping hare.

This 4 star cottage is situated in a designated area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in the Allendale Valley, Northumberland, voted the most tranquil county in the UK.
The cottage has been rebuilt from a derelict barn with the stone used from the original building to achieve a traditional detached Northumberland cottage to the highest possible standard, located in an elevated position with wonderful unrestricted views from all windows of the Allendale Valley below.
The walks start from your doorstep and with the deer and pheasant to the rare golden plover and black grouse, the area is a haven for the nature lover. A stream leads down to the East Allen River, with its ford and footbridge only a few hundred yards from the cottage.

Cotswold Edge. The ground floor accommodation comprises

dryer. Burrows Court is ideally located for visits to the
South Cotswold Villages, Berkeley Castle, Slimbridge
Wildfowl Trust and Westonbirt Arboretum the cities of
Bristol, Bath, Cheltenham and Gloucestershire are about 40
miutes away by car. There is ample parking.
