Great walks from the front door alongside the river Wylye or over Salisbury Plain to appreciate Wiltshire's rolling beauty and huge skies. Cycle along the lanes to the many good local pubs.
At the same time, the cottage is within easy reach of Longleat, Stonehenge, Stourhead House, Wilton House, Avebury, Salisbury and Bath. Studland Bay and Poole are just over an hour away.

Lulworth Cove, Durdle Door, Chesil Beach, Corfe Castle and West Bay make wonderful days outings, great restaurants and pubs nearby too.

This beautiful 16th century thatched cottage is situated on the edge of the village of Ebbesbourne Wake in the Cranborne Chase and West Dorset Downs Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It nestles beneath a hill, surrounded by a large sunny garden with plenty of trees. Inside the thick cob walls it is warm and comfortable with old beams and an inglenook fireplace with a woodburner. The cottage is completely secluded, although it is only about 300 metres to the village centre with its church and pub.
