Beckleshele is in a remote location 1400’ up in the moorland of Weardale within the Durham Dales and the North Pennine Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A converted lead miners cottage, it has 1 en-suite double bedroom, 1 twin bedroom, bathroom, kitchen/diner, upstairs lounge with double sofa bed and spectacular views. It is conveniently situated to visit Durham City, Killhope Lead Mining Centre, the Lake District, Hexham and Hadrians Wall. 269 Drumanguie
A traditional croft house with recently renovated large barn annex. Situated at the end of a private road in wild Sutherland landscape, yet within 10 minutes walk of a beautiful sand beach at Polin. There are several other beaches within a couple of miles which provide good fishing, surfing and access for launching small boats. This magnificent stretch of open scenery provides for a wide variety of short local excursions (e.g Sandwood Bay, Cape Wrath, Golf in Durness, Handa Island)
This is a simple family cottage not aiming to cater for sophisticated needs. This area has what remains of a crofting way of life, it is therefore most important this is respected, so please email me if you wish to take a dog
