It is an ideal base for walking cycling and fishing. There is also a local 9 hole golf course. Within the district there are gardens and historic castles to be visited. Also excellent local restaurants such as the Carron Restaurant, Rockvilla Hotel, Lochcarron Hotel, Strathcarron Hotel. The nearest town is the Kyle of Lockalsh which, at 25 miles from the cottage, makes its setting ideal for a getaway surrounded by the magnificent landscape of western Scotland.
