The cottage, which sleeps 2/4 people, is situated in Lower Oddington close to the town of Stow-on-the-Wold. A period cottage which has been owned by the same family for nearly 100 years. The Fox Inn is close by, with the Horse and Groom Inn situated approximately 15 minutes walk away, in Upper Oddington. Nearby is situated the C11th church of St. Nicholas which is adjacent to ancient woodlands. The village has a public phonebox. Wayside Cottage

Wayside is a renovated cottage bungalow in the centre of Horsington, just 300 yards walk to the Elder Tree Public House. The cottage is situated down a quiet lane just off the main road (B1190), set in its own mature open plan gardens. It overlooks the grounds of the church and has ample parking. Wayside is an ideal central point to explore the county. A stone in the churchyard at Waddingworth, 2 miles from Horsington, had a hole in which was reputedly the exact centre of the old county of Lincolnshire.
